The short answer

The Outstanding AI trend recasts the big finish of a famous little office-corner concert, the one that ends on the funk classic "Outstanding", with new faces in the band: losing football coaches started it on October 18, 2026, and now friends, coworkers and families put themselves in it. Here you add a photo of each of you (or one photo of you both), and in a few minutes you get a vertical video of the two of you fronting the band in a cosy office corner full of records and bookshelves: one singing lead at an upright piano, the other playing the saxophone solo, a laugh into the camera and the whole band hitting the last note. The song is an original 80s funk-soul track made for your video, not the original recording, so add the "Outstanding" sound in TikTok or Instagram when you post. No app and no template; you pay once for a song or a pack, and a render that fails is refunded.

The Outstanding AI trend, starring your friends

The clip everyone is recasting: a band squeezed into a cosy office corner, records and bookshelves everywhere, the singer at the keys, a saxophone solo, and the whole band hitting the final note of "Outstanding". The joke is who is in the band: losing coaches, a sitcom cast, your coworkers. The tutorials have you collect five photos and stitch templates together. Here it is vocals + a photo, one tap.

How to make an Outstanding AI video

  1. Add the photos. One clear photo of each of the two performers, or one photo of the two of you.
  2. Write a line (optional). What the song is about: "the accounting team closed the quarter", "family game night champions".
  3. Make it. About 2 to 3 minutes later the clip is ready. Download it and add the "Outstanding" sound when you post.

What you get

  • The room. A small office corner turned concert set: bookshelves full of records, warm lamps, plants, posters, an upright piano by the desk.
  • The lead. The first person sings lead at the piano, eyes closed on the long notes.
  • The sax. The second person sings backup and then takes the saxophone solo.
  • The finish. A laugh into the camera, then the whole band on the last note while the room cheers.
  • The song. An original 80s funk-soul track with slap bass, horns and a sax solo, so the clip works even without adding a sound.

Ideas for the band

  • Coworkers: "the office survived another Monday"
  • Your team: "we lost the game but we're still the best team in the league"
  • Family: "Grandpa and his granddaughter, the best band in the family"
  • Friends: "the group chat finally made plans"

Outstanding AI trend: questions

What is the Outstanding AI trend?

A TikTok format that took off on October 18, 2026: AI puts new faces into the closing moment of a famous small office-corner concert where the band plays the 1982 funk song "Outstanding". The first one cast college football coaches whose teams had just lost; NFL, workplace, family and group-chat versions followed. The joke is who is in the band.

Is this the Tiny Desk AI trend?

Yes, many people call it the Tiny Desk AI trend, after the concert series where the original performance was filmed. We are not affiliated with NPR or that series: this page makes our own office-corner concert scene with an original song, starring the people in your photos.

How do I do the Outstanding AI trend?

Add a clear photo of each of the two performers, or one photo of the two of you, and tap the button. Optionally write what the song is about in one line. In about 2 to 3 minutes you get the clip: the first person singing at the piano, the second on the saxophone, then the whole band on the last note.

Does it use the song "Outstanding"?

No. The video comes with an original 80s funk-soul song made for it, with a sax solo. To get the trend sound, download the clip and add "Outstanding" from the TikTok or Instagram sound library when you post, then lower the clip’s own audio.

Who can I put in the band?

Anyone who said yes: your friends, coworkers, your family, your team. The two people from your photos are at the front; the rest of the band stays in the background. Do not use photos of famous people or of anyone without their permission.

Can I make a workplace or team version?

Yes. Write the line about your office or team, e.g. "the accounting team closed the quarter", and the song is built around it while the two of you front the band.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is pay-per-video: one 720p video is $8.88, three are $16.99 and ten are $29.90, with no subscription. The cost in credits shows before you tap the button, and a render that fails is refunded.

Do I need an app or a template?

No. It runs in the browser on your phone or computer, and you download a vertical MP4 ready for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
