Hotel Lobby CapCut Template: Where to Find It + an Easier Way

Where to find the Hotel Lobby CapCut template, how to use it step by step, what it can’t do, and how to make a two-person Hotel Lobby video from photos.

The Hotel Lobby trend puts two people into Quavo and Takeoff's orange-booth performance of "Hotel Lobby" from A COLORS SHOW. The first thing most people try is a CapCut template. Here's how to find one, how to use it, and when a photo-to-video AI does the job better.

Where to find the Hotel Lobby CapCut template

There is not one official template. Creators make their own and upload them, so what you find changes from week to week. Two ways to get one:

  1. From TikTok. Find a Hotel Lobby video you like. If it was made with a template, there is a "CapCut · Try this template" label above the caption. Tap it and the template opens in CapCut.
  2. In CapCut. Open the app, go to Templates and search "Hotel Lobby". Sort by the most used to find the ones that work.

Some templates only show up in certain countries, and some ask for CapCut Pro. If a template link opens nothing, it has usually been taken down; pick another one.

How to use the template, step by step

  1. Tap Use template.
  2. Pick the photo or clip the template asks for. Most want one clear, face-forward face.
  3. Let CapCut process it, then preview.
  4. Tap Export, and post straight to TikTok or save it to your phone.

The whole thing takes a minute or two and it is free.

What a CapCut template can and cannot do

A template is a face swap on the original clip: your face goes onto Quavo's or Takeoff's body, over their real performance and their real song. That's great for a quick joke, but it has limits:

  • Usually one face. Most templates swap one person. Getting you and a friend in means finding a template that supports two, and those are rarer.
  • It is their performance, not yours. Same moves, same outfits, same lyrics. Your face is pasted on top.
  • Templates disappear. They get removed or stop working, often right when a trend peaks.
  • The original song. The clip keeps the copyrighted track, and videos using it can be muted or taken down on some platforms.

The other way: make it from your vocals and a photo

If you want two real people in the orange booth, an AI video generator is the easier route. You upload one photo of each person, and the AI renders a brand-new video of the two of you rapping together on a Hotel Lobby-style stage, with an original song and beat written for you.

  • Two faces, one performance. Both of you move, trade verses and finish the hook together.
  • Your own lyrics. Type who it is for and why: "Jake's 30th birthday", "best friends since 2nd grade", "our salon's grand opening". The rap is written around that.
  • No template to hunt for. It is always there, in the browser, on iPhone, Android or desktop. No app to install.
  • An original song. Nothing for platforms to flag as a copyrighted track.

It is not free: rendering AI video costs real money. Pricing is pay-per-video: one 720p video is $8.88, three are $16.99 and ten are $29.90, with no subscription. A render that fails is refunded.

Make a Hotel Lobby video from your vocals and a photo: upload vocals and a photo, pick the scene, tap once, and it is ready in a few minutes.

Step 1: one photo of each person. Ordinary selfies work, and they don’t need to be taken together.
The result, a few minutes later: both people from the photos, each on a mic, ready to download.

What about your dog or cat?

Face-swap templates are made for human faces, so a pet usually does not come out right. From photos it works: put your pet in one photo and yourself or a second pet in the other, and the two rap on the orange stage. Use a clear, face-forward photo with one animal in it. Tips either way

  • Clear, face-forward photos work best: good light, no sunglasses, face not cut off.
  • Only use photos of people who said yes. Don't use celebrities or anyone who didn't agree to be in it.
  • Post it vertical (9:16) for TikTok and Reels.
